Focus schools are inspected under section 162A of the Education Act 2002 by the School Inspection Service, an independent inspectorate which conducts school inspections in the context of the Independent Schools Regulations and Standards on behalf of the Department for Education.

Focus School Coventry Campus excelled in a recent 162A Inspection, with comments from inspectors such as:

  • Offers an education of high quality to their pupils
  • Highly successful in fulfilling their aim to educate pupils in a caring Christian environment
  • Pupil’s behaviour is of high quality, and teachers and pupils have a strong work ethic
  • Excellent cooperation between the professional staff, head teacher, trustees and volunteers

However, we are not content to rest on our laurels. The current School Improvement Plan has a strong focus on consolidating strengths and taking the school to ‘outstanding’ levels.
