OneSchool Skills Awards
To ensure progress of self-directed learning, students and staff need to develop effective ‘OneSchool Skills’.
OneSchool Skills need to be identified in the planning of assignments and student effort, progress and
competency in these skill areas should be acknowledge by staff, and recorded.
Self, peer and teacher assessment of effort, progress and competency in skill areas should be integral to
the assessment of assignments. Celebration of these achievements should be routine within schools.
Tracking of effort, progress and competency of OneSchool Skills should be evident across all Focus
Schools and should inform decisions for Gold and Silver Award Winners).
